Recently, I have started photographing for documentation purposes after the recent war in Sudan, which affected many sites and people. I am currently working on a project documenting the impact of the war on Khartoum, and I may have made significant progress in my photography, creating an important memory for historical record. I have also focused on documenting life, culture, heritage, and other aspects that are beginning to fade, as well as the individuals who contributed greatly to society and culture, ensuring their legacy is preserved through these images.
In addition, I have captured several significant events, such as the arrival of Ethiopian refugees, disasters caused by heavy rains and floods, the effects of severe drought and desertification, and deforestation. These experiences have deepened my interest in environmental and social issues, alongside my ongoing effort to document Sudan’s historical and cultural life.
في الفترة الأخيرة، بدأت أصوّر بدافع التوثيق بعد الحرب الأخيرة في السودان، حيث تعرّضت العديد من المواقع والناس للأذى. حاليًا أصوّر مشروعًا عن آثار الحرب على الخرطوم، وربما قطعت شوطًا في التصوير، لتكون هذه الذاكرة إضافة مهمّة للتوثيق. كما بدأت أهتم بتوثيق الحياة، الثقافة، التراث، وغيرها من الجوانب التي بدأت تنحصر أو تتلاشى، مع التركيز على الأشخاص الذين قدموا الكثير للمجتمع والثقافة، ليظل أثرهم محفوظًا عبر الصور.
بالإضافة لذلك، صورت عددًا من الأحداث المهمة، مثل وصول اللاجئين الإثيوبيين، وكوارث الأمطار والفيضانات، وآثار الجفاف الشديد والتصحر، وقطع الغابات، مما أثار اهتمامي الكبير بهذه الجوانب البيئية والاجتماعية، إلى جانب التوثيق التاريخي والثقافي للحياة في السودان.
