In photographing people’s lives in public streets and old houses whose corners conceal the rest of the story, I allow the image to withhold what is left unsaid and to speak for itself by proxy, as if it were whispering its story to itself before revealing it to others
في تصوير حياة الناس في الشارع العام، وفي المنازل القديمة التي تُخفي في جوانبها باقي الحكاية، أترك للصورة أن تدّخر ما لم يُقَل، وأن تحكي عن نفسها بالإنابة، وكأنها تهمس بقصتها لنفسها قبل أن تقولها للآخرين
